I Can Do All Things Through Christ; Love.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven, is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)

The scriptures were written to bless and encourage us, and surely they do just that. We thank heaven for every chapter and verse that we have. But have you noticed that now and then, a passage will appear that reminds us we are falling a little short?

For example, the Sermon on the Mount begins with soothing, gentle beatitudes, but in the verses that follow, we are told—among other things—not only not to kill but also not even to be angry. We are told not only not to commit adultery but also not even to have impure thoughts. To those who ask for it, we are to give our coat and then give our cloak also. We are to love our enemies, bless those who curse us and do good to them who hate us.

Around the Church, I hear many who struggle with this issue: “I am just not good enough.” “I fall so far short.” “I will never measure up.” I hear this from teenagers. I listen to it from missionaries. I listen to it from new converts.

I listen to it from lifelong members.

However, the Greek word translated as perfect in Matthew 5:48 can also mean “finished” or “completed.” Instead of expecting people to be “without mistake,” Jesus may have been commanding them to be made whole through making covenants with Him.

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven, is perfect. Matthew 5:48

If we really focus and draw close to Heavenly Father, we can overcome all things in time. We are commanded to following the commandments for a reason. If we become selfish, someone else suffers from our lack of caring, which is a lack of Love. God’s greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart.

    MARK 12:30-31

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none another commandment greater than these.

    1 Corinthians 16:14

14 Let all your things be done with charity.

As I strive to overcome all things, there are certain things that we are expected to do. As a member of Christ church, we have specific standards that we are asked to obey if we are to except Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. Many will fall short simply because they won’t do it and don’t even care to try.

My attitude is that it may not be easy, but we should develop a winning attitude. If I try a million times and fall on my face; I should pick myself up and try again, with God’s help, I will win the battle and overcome all things. But most important, never give up and ask God for help.

Many years ago, I asked God to help me with my weaknesses, and to this day, I am still struggling, but I am gaining a strength that I have never felt before. I say, keep pushing forward, talk with God daily so you can develop a relationship with him.

    In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints we have what we call;

I have a co-worker at work who uses some offensive language while he talks in his daily routine.

We are commanded to keep our words clean, free from filth. I told him that in heaven that I believe we will be able to read each other’s thoughts, and we need to keep our minds fresh and pure. We need to strive to be humble and meek.

    1. The Meek Have Self-Control
    2. The Meek Are Humble and Teachable
    3. The Meek Are Bold
    4. The Meek Forgive
    5. The Meek Say “I’m Sorry”
    6. The Meek Are Confident
    7.  The Meek Serve Others
    8. The Meek Have the Spirit with Them

    Matthew 5: 1-12

Jesus preaches the Sermon on the Mount—Its teachings replace and transcend some aspects of the law of Moses—All are commanded to be perfect like their Father in Heaven.

1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Always remember your not alone; Remember…
You can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth you.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Philippians 4:13

It is so worth it brothers and sisters, we get one chance to make a difference in this life, let us focus and do all that we can. Remember to pray in all you do, read, and study the scriptures.

    God Bless You heartyes

I am creating a Documentary of Prophecy, and so this will make things more precise and easier to understand. All in all, this stuff is often very urgent to me, the first resurrection is just a few years down the road, the next decade. The 2nd coming will be in only two or three decades after that. I’m not giving any dates here, for it is best to go by the many events that will take place. I am doing all I can to have this released by the end of the year. Please keep checking this website for I will keep you all informed. If you want a copy; let me know so that I can create a list. It’s free; at no cost to you. I do this because I care!
