“And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” ~Matthew 24:14

    THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

Many mistakes the gospel to be merely something you proclaim to get a Yes or No answer. But really, the Gospel of the Kingdom is a way of living. The Gospel is about repentance and obedience to the King of this Kingdom. The Gospel is about the transformative power of God in our lives that produces fruit for men to see and glorify our Father in Heaven. The preaching of the Gospel produces a true disciple and not just converts.

All through the teachings of Jesus, we realize that the Gospel of the Kingdom is not merely a matter of talk. The true Gospel that Jesus preached was about action. He taught us by His life that Faith requires action to be true and living Faith.

Every time Jesus spoke, He did so authority that people would be left in absolute awe. His words carried life as He preached the Gospel of the Kingdom. I believe true authority flows from a place of purity.

“And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teachings for He taught them as one with authority, and not as the scribes” ~Matthew 7:28-29

While the scribes and teachers of the law taught the very same scriptures, their personal lives were not a reflection of what they preached.

Jesus, on the other hand, was preaching the kingdom of God and living it out daily; that’s what made the difference. This is the Gospel of the Kingdom that we have been called to preach and share with all peoples.

    THE PROMISE

It warms my heart to read the words of Jesus, “This Gospel of the Kingdom WILL be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations.”

This is not just a great commandment or a great commission. This is great confidence and certainly a great assurance. God is truly such a good and patient Father; His heart is for all Mankind to know and live in the truth; he wants to give everyone a chance to receive His free gift of everlasting life.

This further motivates us to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom every chance we get, fulfilling the words of our Lord and savior. Let us, therefore, pray with great Faith to the Lord of the harvest and GO with great confidence of sure triumph.

“And Jesus said to them, ‘Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature” ~ Mark 16:15 It is important to note that preaching to all nations does not necessarily mean the modern-day country.

Nations in the Bible referred to peoples or ethnic groups with their own peculiar culture. For example, the Philistines, Moabites, Amorites, and others mentioned in the Old Testament were called Nations.

This means you may be preaching the gospel to nations right at your workplace, in school, or anywhere you get an opportunity to share the gospel.

    THE PROPHECY

Jesus prophesied that the gospel of the Kingdom would be preached in all the world, to all nations, and THEN the end will come. This shows us that God will ensure that everyone gets a chance.

We are living in times when the mighty gospel is spreading rapidly all over the world. With missionaries going out to minister to unreached people groups across the globe, to modern technology that has made the world such a global village. The internet is accessible in almost every country around the world. Videos and documentaries on the Gospel on platforms like YouTube are reaching Billions of people. A simple article like the one you’re reading can be read by people all over the world.

While this prophecy has not yet been completely fulfilled, there is no doubt that more and more people are being reached by the good news of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

    THE FULFILMENT

In revelation chapter 7, John sees in the sixth seal the restoration of the gospel, the sealing of the 144,000, and the hosts of the exalted from all nations.

“After these things, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. (12,000 from all the 12 tribes of Israel) ~Revelation 7:1-4 There are those who believe that the 144,000 are the only ones who will be saved. However, this is not the case. The 144,000 are sealed to proclaim the Gospel for the last time. This happens at the end of the 6th seal, just before the 7 Trumpets begin to sound.

Understanding the 144,000 who are sealed.

The 144,000 are sealed; they will go about the globe for the last time to do their work as missionaries, the last call for the Gentile Nations.

They are high priests, ordained unto the holy order of God. They are protected so that no harm will come to them in a very dangerous world. This prophecy has already partly been completed in that many have already been sealed.

The last step in the actual moment is when the 144,000 go through the globe proclaiming the Gospel for the last time, and then the end will come.

    CONCLUSION

The Mighty gospel is already reaching the ends of the world, and it will continue to be preached to all people and nations. God wants to give everyone a chance; He doesn’t want anyone to be left behind. As disciples of Jesus, we also have the mandate to proclaim the good news of the Gospel to all those around us. Letting everyone know that Jesus came and paid the ultimate price for our sins and that in accepting Him into our hearts, confessing that He died and rose up from the dead on the third day and

following his commandments, we are adopted into His Family and restored to a right relationship to our Father in Heaven.

Like Paul wrote to the Romans, may Romans 1:16 also be our testament. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile” ~Romans 1:16
