I feel so very blessed to understand the many hidden things that are going on in the world today. With this knowledge comes a throbbing responsibility to share what I know to the world. The scriptures nailed it in that most people will not understand just how close we are to the 2nd coming and that we are living in the last years leading up-to the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.

When I was a child I used to believe that Christ would come in my lifetime, and you know what; he will except there is one thing that I never really counted on when I was a child. The First Resurrection, many call it the Rapture.

There is nothing in the scriptures that use the word, rapture, however the scriptures in the book of revelation use the words, The “First Resurrection”, try revelation chapter 20 verse 5 & 6.

Which reads:

5. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Many believe that there is only one rapture, there is more than one and it will definitely depend on one’s faith and obedience. The question is which one will you be a part of? Being a part of the First Resurrection would be outstanding. Because of their faith and obedience, they will escape the wrath of God.

Therefore, it says; Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection, for those who are a part of the first resurrection will escape the wrath of almighty God, just like in the days of Noah.

Of course the above is just a couple scriptures and you’ll need to read the entire chapter for a better understanding. The saints will be caught up to meet the Lord, this happens during the beginning of the 7th seal. The first of seven Trumpets will begin to sound.

1 Thessalonians 4

14 For if we believe Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

It is my belief that sleep is speaking of those who have passed on,died; it does not mean sleep as one may think of when we lay down to rest our bodies for those who die are asleep. I like to think of it as a place of waiting, forever learning about the truth of God.

Who will be a part of the first resurrection? Short Answer; “The Saints”.

You can find that out by reading the same chapter; 1 Thessalonians 4.

The Saints are told to be holy, sanctify themselves, and love one another—The Lord will come, and the dead will rise.

1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

6 That no man ago beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to clove one another.

10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

It some ways the above makes me sad in that most Christians will not be a part of the First Resurrection. Why? Being a part of the First Resurrection, are those who live for the Lord and keep the commandments.

They are those who pray in all that they do. No, they are not perfect but they work towards perfection as the scriptures say;

Matthew 5:48: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

For many will say that we can not be perfect and so they give up and don’t try. The Saints understand that with the help of almighty God and his Son Jesus Christ; they will reach that goal. One day we will be made whole in Christ and become, “The Bride Of Christ”. The good news its your choice, our actions speak for themselves, what we do matters.
