Most believers believe in the existence of God purely by Faith, which is followed by real experiences with the Lord. However, many believers believe that God is indeed real due to undeniable proof of His existence.
Some were atheists like the late C.S Lewis, who later became a firm believer of the one and only true God. He went ahead to be a Christian author giving testaments that God is indeed real. Lee Strobel was a journalist in the ’70s; he took a year and nine months seeking tangible evidence to disprove the existence of God. By the time he finished his investigation, he could not believe his findings. Nevertheless, the trail led him to undeniable proof; that God did not exist ended up leading him straight to the truth that there was no doubt that God is real.
In 2017, a movie based on his real-life was released titled “The Case for Christ.” Lee Strobel found proof without any reasonable doubt that God is real!
The list could go on and on of atheists that later changed their minds about the fictional tales that seek to deceive humanity into turning their backs on a real God that Loves and Cares for them. But, unfortunately, most atheists are just followers who have been deceived so much that they don’t think for themselves.
Scientists estimate that planet earth is home to 8.7 Million species, not to mention that scientists have not yet explored more than 80% of the global ocean. This means that there are more unexplored species in our ocean. So the idea that all those species, the air we breathe, the plants, the stars, and different planets all came from nothing is quite frankly irrational, as C.S Lewis once said.
The Bible backs this up with stronger yet true words, ‘The fool says in His Heart, “There is no God.”’ ~Psalm 14:1. This is not in any way an insult to those who claim that there is no God. Rather, it is merely a fact that all around us, there is proof that God is real, and only a fool would deny even evidence.
“What must be known about God is plain to them because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” ~Romans 1:19-20
God is an all-knowing God, and He knew that a time would come when the enemy would use our fellow brothers and sisters to lead us from the truth of His existence.
And because of His love for humanity, He made everything simple and plain. The nature around us testifies that someone is ruling over it. And when Jesus was on earth, He commanded the storm to stop, and immediately it came to a halt.
The disciples said within themselves, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him.” ~Matthew 8:27. The waves obeyed Him because He made them. Another part of Scripture that excites me when I read is Job 38 to 40.
God shows His hand in all of nature in ways unfathomable to man.
A few years ago, a friend who was doing his degree in mechatronic engineering told me about a project they were doing on making a robot. I remember him telling me how much work, calculations, and failed trials have to go in to make the robot move its hand for a few seconds, yet the human body works so seamlessly. Finally, he looked at me and said, “Science only proves that there must be a God.”
The big bang theory would have us believe that everything came from nothing. After many decades and developments in theoretical physics, most cosmologists have changed their perspective seeing as it no longer makes sense. The ancient Greeks fiercely debated the beginning and origin of time, citing the principle that out of nothing comes nothing. This means that the universe, galaxies, humanity, animals, plants, and everything that exists must have come out of something. For how can something come out of nothing? If I expected a house to coincidentally and accidentally appear without having it built, most people would think I have gone crazy because it simply makes no sense. However, some might be kind enough to offer me an invitation to use my functioning mind to think.
“For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God” ~Hebrews 3:4
The order in which everything exists within the universe and in space further shows how a big bang, merely a coincidental accident, could not have brought everything into existence in such a precise and meticulous order. However, the Bible in Genesis 1 clearly accounts for how God created everything with the order we see in creation.
Cosmologists have found a strange coincidence where the Milky Way properties are similar to those of other distant galaxies. In his article, Gabriele Veneziano explained, “It is as though you showed up to a party only to find you were wearing the same clothes as a dozen of your friends. If just the two of you were dressed the same, it might be explained as a coincidence, but a dozen suggests that the party-goers had coordinated in advance. In cosmology, the number is not merely a dozen but tens of thousands!”.
It appears as though the more evidence cosmologists seek to find to disprove the truth, the more they are baffled by the remarkable order in which everything exists.
It’s almost as though there is a hand behind all of it. In fact, more than ever, science seems to confirm further the validity of what the Bible says about creation.
Indeed, “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His handiwork” ~Psalm 19:1
The Bible seems to be the source of truth all around us, whether it is in matters of origin, nature, the different species of animals and plants, the intricate way in which man has been made, and not to mention all the prophecies recorded in the Bible that are coming to pass. There is no doubt that God is real and that the Bible is the true word of God. While scientists have constantly updated their papers and books about the origin of the universe and everything in it, the word of God has been unchanging yet constantly true, standing the test of time.
If followers of the enemy have deceived you, there is no judgment or condemnation. Rather an invitation to walk in the truth. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. When a person accepts Jesus Christ into their heart, God removes the veil that has kept them blinded and opens their eyes to see the truth finally. All you have to do is accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. At first, it may be a little challenging with so much to unlearning and learning to do with the help of the Holy Spirit, but step by step, Jesus continues to renew our minds with His word.
The most important thing is that you don’t miss out on experiencing the extravagant love God has for you; His Love is truly like no other. He wants to do everyday life with you, to enjoy fellowship with you that will give life meaning in ways you never imagined. He loves you so much, and He wants to show you. So if you have decided to accept Jesus into your heart, talk to Him today, invite Him in and nurture your relationship with Him by constantly talking to Him as you would talk to a friend, read His word to know Him, and find out what He says about you and allow the Holy Spirit to help you every step of the way. A great place to start is the book of John in the New Testament.

A group of people that inspire me in the scriptures are the Berean Jews; the Bible says in Acts 17:11 that they eagerly listened to Paul’s message and searched the scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.
