WHAT ARE THE SEVEN SEALS?
BOOK OF REVELATION
The seven seals are the history of man, on earth and in heaven, and are covering our past, present, and future events. For example, the 1st Seal was opened in the year 3967 B.C.
B.C. stands for “Before Christ”; before the days of Christ’s birth.
Another essential fact; Each Seal lasts 1000 years. So 3967 B.C. would end on 2967 B.C., and the 2nd Seal would open; you can see this below, for we will cover every Seal in this article.
Before we get started, take heart; this interpretation is correct; it doesn’t mean that I am perfect in everything that I do. Many people don’t understand the Book of revelation and teach that this will unfold only in the last days, but the reality is that this book covers 1000 year periods covering the space of 7000 years, plus a little season.
Still, the seven seals are the history of man, on earth and in heaven, covering our past, present, and future events, as I stated above. As always, I suggest you study, pray and ask God; understanding the seven seals gives you an excellent timeline of when certain events will occur. Without this knowledge, you’ll be in the dark. There is a promise in the Book of revelation for those who study and read this book; you can read that here;
THE BLESSING – Revelation 1:1-3
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servant’s things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Before I cover the seven seals, it should be noted that in Revelation chapter 5, Jesus was given the Book sealed with seven seals which is the history of the earth, past, present, and future. However, it does cover a bit more than seven thousand years as it mentions our eternal destiny.
Revelation Chapter 5:1-5
John sees the Book sealed with seven seals, and he sees those people redeemed out of every nation—He hears every creature praising God and the Lamb.
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the Book, and to lose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the Book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the Book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

5 And when he had opened the third Seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
4th Seal Opens; the Year 967 B.C. – Death, war, Hell & famine. Rev 6:7,8
7 And when he had opened the Fourth Seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

5th Seal Opens; the Year 33 A.D. – Christain Martyrs Slain. Rev 6:9-11
NOTE: Here is one of the most important events to understand when the 2nd coming will occur. The very first day that Jesus Christ was resurrected started the 5th seal.
We also learn in; 2 Peter 3:8
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
9 And when he had opened the fifth Seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should crest yet for a little season, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
6th Seal Opens; the Year 1033 A.D. – Sign of the Times, powerful earthquake.
Rev 6:12-17 & Rev 7: 2-8 – This earthquake has yet to happen; it will occur toward the very end of the 6th Seal, the late 2020s to early 2030s.
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth Seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath comes; and who shall be able to stand?
7th Seal Opens; the Year 2033
The 1st of 7 Trumpet begins to sound. Saints caught up to meet Christ in the Air; 1st resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the 1st resurrection! Revelation 20:6
Revelation Chapter 7:9-17 – Saints are caught up.
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might be unto our God forever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sunlight on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
