Do You Pray For Peace When All Hope Seems Dark? A Dead End.

In this troubled world, where seems to be no hope and peace, Jesus still calms the storms.

John 14:27 says,” peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

It is easy to praise Jesus and to sing and shout “Hallelujah” when everything seems to be on your side and running smoothly in your life. It is easy to call yourself a Christian when you check your bank account and see it filled with money. It is easy to call yourself a Christian and have faith when your family is healthy.

But to be a real Christian when everything is going wrong when illness, trials, and tribulations come into your life, this is when your faith and trust in Jesus is put to the test. This is when God gives you the opportunity to allow the world to see your true colors and test your faith in the Lord. This is the best chance to live according to your testimony.

When the fire is hot, and things seem not to be going well, and it appears as if you are losing it, this is when you can allow Jesus Christ to fill your heart with peace and let Him be your guide. Jesus Christ promised to give us His peace, guaranteeing us that our hearts will not be troubled so that we can leave without fear. He told us, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you.”

In this troubled world where we live, the feeling of peace seems to be hidden. It is funny that we feel we are content, but when our content level and familiar routine are taken away from us, we find ourselves in a panic mode. This is an area that challenges everyone.

The bible teaches us that Christ grows our character through hardship and numerous testing, so I wonder what He feels when we get frustrated by interruptions and disruptions to our everyday lives. How do you find peace in cases that leave you feeling anxious and aggravated? Can you claim to have peace only to watch it dissolve because your expectations are met with ambiguity and uncertainty?

Peace starts small and grows with time. Paul, the apostle, is one person who had a genuine reason to be discontent with his life. Not only was Paul beaten and sent out of town, but God also re-directed his missionary journey to a deserted island named Malta which was occupied by a tribe of savages.

However, God is so good that He used His precarious situation for the good of Paul. He experienced peace and even hosted his own island rejuvenation and revival. Reading the story of Paul has taught me that having a peaceful mind is a perspective we tend to overlook whenever we feel anxious. But, when you read all the controversies that Paul endured, you will agree with me that you have not experienced extreme difficulties like Paul.

The peace that Paul experienced was in his perspective of all the circumstances. We should emulate Paul to have a peaceful life. Paul spent most of his time in a high stress, but he made friends with his disappointments. From shipwreck, chains in the prison cells, peace was his weapon in every encounter.

Since we are deeply rooted in Christ, we can also experience peace. This will happen if we put our faith and trust in God alone. We will withstand or rather endure any situation no matter how difficult or painful it seems to be. Jesus has granted us peace in whatever this harsh life throws at us.

Peace is God’s presence. Jesus’ plan for us is not defined by how good life treats us. His presence always gives us peace and eliminates every fear and anxiety. Whenever life becomes a circus or your peace seems hidden, make it a habit to pray and put all your concerns into God’s hands. Always seek Jesus because He is the Prince of Peace, and He dwells within you! Philippians 4:6-7 tells us not to be anxious about anything. We should put everything in prayer and supplications with thanksgiving. If you let your requests made known to God, He will bail you out, and the peace of God will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.

The best thing you can do while searching for peace is to find a quiet place, read the bible and pray, and listen to inspiring and encouraging worship music. God wants you to live your life to the fullest, including living in peace. You will always experience the peace of God if you come to Him in humility and accept His calling through Jesus Christ!

Article Written By; Timothy R ThompsonUpdated For Our Day!

A Major Iran War Is About To Take Place According To Prophecy In The Bible. 100%

    It’s happening!

A Major Iran War Is about to Take Place in the Middle East, Iran – the beginning of the end. In the next few months this war will become history and will affect everyone, the USA will be divided into four countries. A must-read, please continue…

We are about to face a major war that will affect the entire world and take us into a countdown that leads us to the end of days. Yes! The beginning of the end of days has begun.

    Daniel Chapter 8

2 And I saw in a vision and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.

Verse 2: What you need to know. Daniel Saw. (vision)

3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

Verse 3: What you need to know. Read Verse 20:

The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

Media is a territory some 2600 years ago. Media today covers Iran and Turkey. Today Persia is Iran.

Verse 3: What you need to know. You need to know that the Ram is Iran and Turkey today.

4 I saw the ram (Iran and Turkey) pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

Verse 4: What you need to know. Iran and Turkey started a major war and went to the North, South and West.

5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

Verse 5: What you need to know. The “he goat” represents the United States of America. Comes from the West. The notable horn between his eyes is the division between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Between good and evil. The USA is fighting for its freedom. And Daniel saw our day, did you?

6 And he came to the ram (Iran and Turkey) that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

Verse 6: What you need to know. The United States goes to war with the Ram, (Iran and Turkey)

7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

Verse 7: What you need to know. The United States kills the leader of Iran and Turkey.

8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

Verse 8: What you need to know. The United States will be divided into four countries.

9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

Verse 8: What you need to know. A horn represents a leader, which is an influential leader. Not necessarily for the benefit of the people, we’ll have to wait and see. Some parts of the United States are not so good and other parts will have more freedom.

    BONUS

19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

What you need to know verse 19: It’s for our day, for at the time appointed the end shall be

20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

What you need to know is verse 20: The ram is two Kings the leaders of Turkey and Iran. Persia changed their name in 1935 to Iran. Media is a territory some 2600 years ago that covers Iran and Turkey today in 2023.

21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

Personal thoughts; I believe Trump is the first king of Grecia. Grecia is the USA in the book of Daniel, chapters 8 and 11. The great horn, which is a leader, would be Donald Trump. This verse makes me believe Trump will become the President in 2024, but very soon will become the first of four leaders in the USA.

We go to war with Iran once Trump becomes president. However, I believe the Iran, Turkey war will begin in 2024 before Trump is in office. The signs are there. This is how I believe it will play out. It’s a matter of how things come together.

We live in some very interesting times. Thank God for Jesus Christ.

How would you like God To Bless You? Humility Increase in Equal Measure.

As Christians, we have a calling to emulate Jesus in exemplary humility. Christ demonstrated an ultimate example of humility when He submitted to come on earth and die on behalf of us as sinners. Jesus was in the form of God, but yet He never equated himself to God. Although Jesus Christ was holy and blameless, He was humble enough to suffer and die for the sake of saving humankind. We can first explain this as an expression of unconditional love and secondly as an outstanding level of humility.

The Bible teaches us that no man should boast of his riches, wisdom, or might, no matter how much he has ( Jeremiah 9:23). Many scriptures in the Bible talk about humility, and therefore it is an essential virtue that we should all embrace as believers of Jesus Christ. We should humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, and only Him should exalt us (1 Peter 5:6). It means that our job is to humble ourselves, and it is God’s job to elevate us. If we focus on doing God’s job, He might as well do ours, and hence He humbles us.

Humility is all about selflessness, thinking about ourselves less and more of others according to Phillipians 2:3. Humility is something that we should show in a world dominated by entitled and overconfident individuals who are busy focusing on themselves instead of serving others for the greater good. This noble virtue has very beneficial impacts on us, as stated in the Bible, and also psychology confirms the same thing. Humility helps in eliminating unnecessary competition and makes us co-exist with others in a friendly way as brethren. Humble people usually have a good sense of self-mastery, and they understand their weaknesses and strengths very well. They never seek recognition from other people, and hence they have a better chance of growing and becoming better.

The Bible promises many things to those people who are humble. According to Proverbs 3:34, favor is promised to humble people, while in Proverbs 11:2, wisdom is promised. Also, Proverbs 22:4 says that “The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord is riches, honor, and life.” In addition, when we humble ourselves, God will exalt us at the right time. All these promises are accurate as long as we meet the condition. By humility, we unlock blessings and doors to God’s favor, wisdom, riches, honor, progress, and advancement in life.

If such incredible things are promised when we are only required to show humility, each believer should possess the blessings. The problem comes when we have little faith in the promises of God, and we choose to believe in only what we see. This deception makes us think that the level we are is maybe because of our education, effort, hard work, connections, etc. This lack of faith makes us live a prayerless life, and we do not thank God for our blessings or request him for our needs. Giving thanks to God and making our requests known to him is a form of humility that we depend on Him and not our abilities or understanding. If we do not pray, then pride comes in, destroying us (Proverbs 16:18). Below is a short story of how pride ruined a colleague of mine.

A few years ago, I had a very gifted colleague named Brian who was doing his job within deadlines and with a high level of accuracy. Together we were in the same technical department as IT technicians. Brian was a colleague and a perfect friend, and we became friends way before when we were still students. He was gifted in computers and numbers, and as a student, he consistently topped the class. Brian could quickly grasp complex computer algorithms while everybody else was struggling to understand. This knowledge aided him in doing computer projects perfectly well and impress our boss with his excellent work. I am not implying that I was below average at my work, but I could take much time to finish an assignment that he could do within just a few hours. Indeed Brian was blessed and better than anyone else in the department on matters job. His excellent performance made our boss happy. In about two years since he joined the company, he was finally promoted to become the head of the technical department following the exit of the preceding HOD.

In his new role, Brian was still doing good and relating well with his juniors for the first few months. A department being led by a worker with an outstanding performance record could only do better as expected. Everybody commended him for the increased performance, and we, as his juniors, were also satisfied working under him. So this one day, Brian summons everybody in the department for a meeting, and in attendance is the company’s boss. When it was his time to talk about the department’s success, he was all about himself and how he transformed the department without giving credit to any of us under him. We felt offended, and we raised the issue in our department Whatsapp group later that evening. Unfortunately, Brian did not take it kindly, and he could even reply with impolite and insensitive messages. This day changed most department staff members’ attitudes towards Brian, and his attitude changed towards them.

The change of attitude became a problem, and there were occasional fights in the department. Brian became more arrogant, and even he facilitated the firing of two of my colleagues. The performance started going down, and unlucky for Brain, he was demoted to his previous role. This brought him back to calmness, and he approached me one day about the same issue. I was frank with him told him about his change of attitude and how it dimmed his star. We prayed about it, and he was determined to change. Today he is very humble but still a very brilliant mind at the workplace, hoping that his promotion will knock for the second time soon.

The case of Brian shows how pride can destroy us, and we should act with great caution when we rise because that is the time we are likely to show arrogance and pride to others. The best way to fight pride is to pray since, by petition, we show how much we depend on God but not our abilities, and by thanksgiving, it shows that everything we have is God-given, and hence no need for pride. Humility helps us to grow since we can readily admit our mistakes. Consequently, we become excellent leaders, earn more respect from others, and above all, we receive more grace and blessings from God (James 4:6).

Do You Struggle With Porn? Why Is Sexual Purity Important To God?

    0

    Username of the writer: ArticleProf

Nowadays, if you listen to popular music, watch popular television shows, or scroll through your social media, it will only take a few minutes before you find sexual references. As Christians, we should follow God’s principles for sex and not just worldly desires and opinions. In 1st Corinthians 6:19-20, Paul tells us that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in us and whom we have received from God. Therefore, why don’t you honor God with your body?

Sexual purity is typically the way we honor Christ with our bodies. It should not be about how far you go with your boyfriend/girlfriend, but rather, ” How much do you want to honor God with your body?” that’s what sexual purity is. Several times in the Bible, King Solomon, in the book Songs of Solomon challenges us to wait until the perfect time to stir up our sexual desires. We all know that Solomon was the wisest man who ever lived, and so undoubtedly, he knew what he was talking about. Solomon was involved in multiple marriages with many concubines. We believe he came to understand one important truth: sexual intercourse within marriage is a beautiful, magical experience, but when taken out of its intended boundaries, you can find yourself in huge problems with unintended consequences.

No matter your marital status, God calls us to be sexually pure in our thoughts and actions. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, 7 summarizes the subject of sexual purity: “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.” … “For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness.”

Sex joins two lives in the act of unmatched closeness. According to 1 Corinthians 6:15-16, it engages and expresses your whole personality in a unique mode of self-disclosure. Therefore, when sex is committed outside of marriage, it loses its value, and its covenant-making power for you is eroded. Ironically, sex outside marriage eventually works against you, making you less committed and unable to trust one another. Fornication is precisely loved that has been reduced to sex. If this is the case, sex has then been depersonalized for just mere consumption, and whatever your initial pleasures and experiences were, they finally degrade, turns ugly, and destroys intimacy.”

Sexual sin can be very damning. As a Christian, it is good to know that an unrelenting commitment to fornication will automatically exclude you from heaven. 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 tells us that neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sodomites nor homosexuals will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Right now, there are people in hell who thought that they could play religion by valuing extramarital sex more than the powerful word of God. The good thing is that fornication is a pardonable sin, and God is ready to forgive you if you seek His forgiveness, 1 Corinthians 6: 11.

I was brought up in a Christian family, and my parents were fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Jesus saved me when I was in the sixth grade before starting the seventh grade. I was now a changed kid, and I wanted other kids around me to experience the love and power of God. However, I had a huge battle with sexual temptation over the next couple of years since I was now in my adolescent stage.

I struggled with lust, and let’s call it a struggle because I knew that the behavior was wrong. Guilt was eating me up because I knew I was thinking and living outside the will of God.

I was gazing lustfully at girls admiring every bit of their body as if they were objects of pressure instead of souls to love. I started watching pornography whenever I had a chance. Although my parents did not have pornography films in the house, we all know how easy it is to access pornography online regardless of your age. I was entertaining my sexual thoughts and fantasies. I was even masturbating. God was too good to me; He kept me from dating relationships because hell would have broken loose, and the desire to have sex would have been even greater.

As much as I loved Jesus, the desire to have sex hit me so hard like a tsunami. The worst part is that I did not disclose this to anyone because I was feeling so embarrassed. I believed that something was wrong with me. I even considered myself a sex freak. Since no one knew what I was struggling with, I could not get any help. On the outside, I seemed fine, but deep down in my heart, I was really struggling.

By God’s grace, I never quit stopping this habit. I was always fighting and praying for God’s intervention. This is a true biblical sign of real salvation. After all the cravings and sinful behavior, I would end up feeling remorse and run to God in repentance and determined to change, but it would still happen again. This happened over and over again throughout my adolescence, leaving me in endless shame. I hated my sins so much. I even got angry with God because I failed to understand why He didn’t do something to redeem me from this sin of my life and wondered why He allowed me to struggle even after I kept asking for His strength to win this battle.

Luckily, God was listening, and He answered my prayers, although it was not immediately. During my first year in college, God revealed to me how I would win this battle against sexual sin once and for all. It involved two techniques: defeat the sin in your mind and then defeat sin with your eyes. God revealed to me that all sexual sins begin with sexual fantasies, then a strong desire for sex which results in a physical action such as masturbation and watching pornography. If you refrain from sexual fantasies, then you have already won 99% of this battle. But, how do you get rid of or avoid sexual thoughts? Although it might be hard to prevent sexual temptations from crossing your mind, you can avoid what happens next. You can flush out these minds by thinking about something else or even reading a bible verse.

Make sure that you are part of a church that helps you win against fornication. A church that engages sex biblically. Although sex is good, sexual sins make us Christians lawbreakers and thus the need for redemption. A good church will provide hope for all sinners. 1 Corinthians 2:2, Matthew 11:28-29 tells us that we should not expect adulterers, fornicators, and homosexuals to convert to Christ if we do not accept them with the grace of the gospel. We Christians should be prepared to respond with sympathetic love and prayer to those courageous enough to confess their sexual sin, Galatians 62.

Is Jesus Christ the True Messiah?

Is Jesus Christ the True Messiah?

Have you ever wondered how the name Jesus Christ in the Bible was derived or why Jesus from the Bible is called Jesus Christ? We will discuss why Jesus is called Jesus Christ or the Messiah and why we should believe in Him. To completely understand who the Messiah is, we need to go back to the book of Genesis 3:15. We see the first messianic prophecy. According to this verse, only one man was “born of the seed of a woman” while the others are born of the seed of a man. The one born of the seed of a woman is the one who will come into this world and undo the work of Satan, and this is Jesus Christ.

Moreover, in Genesis 9 and 10, God narrowed down the Messiah’s address further.

Noah had three sans Ham Shem and Japheth, and all the world’s nations can be traced back to these men. But in the Messiah’s passage, God eliminated two-thirds of them and proclaimed that the Messiah would come through the lineage of Shem. In the year 2000 B.C, God called Abraham out of Ur of the Chaldees. God was even more specific, stating that the Messiah would be a descendant of Abraham. Genesis 12: 17-22.

According to the scripture, the earth was blessed through Abraham. He had two sons Ishmael and Isaac, but many of his descendants were eliminated when the Lord chose Isaac.

Reading further, Genesis 28; 10-12 and Numbers 24:17, Isaac had two sons Jacob and Esau, but God selected the lineage of Jacob. Again Jacob had twelve sons who formed the twelve tribes of Israel. Out of the twelve, God chose the tribe of Judah for Messiahship, thus eliminating the remaining eleven tribes. The families in line with the tribe of Judah, the Line of Jesse was God’s choice (Isaiah 11:1-5). Already we can see the probability of Jesus Christ being the Messiah building up. Jesse had eight children, and according to 2 Samuel 7: 12-16 and in the book of Jeremiah 23:5, the Lord eliminated 7/8ths of Jesse’s family line. The scripture tells us that God’s man was to be of a seed of a woman, the race of the jews, the lineage of Shem, the line of Isaac, the line of Jacob and the tribe of Judah, and lastly, the house of David.

There is also a prophecy that dates back to 1012 B.C in the book of Psalm 22: 6- 18, Zechariah 12:10, and Galatians 3:1 that predicts that the Messiah’s hands and feet will be pierced and that He will be crucified. This message was written about eight hundred years ago before Jesus Christ was crucified to be practiced by the Romans. To add more weight to the fact that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, Isaiah 7: 14 tells us that the man will be born of a virgin and natural birth of unnatural conception. A concept beyond the understanding and planning of the human mind. More prophecies from the book of Psalm and Isaiah describe the response that Christ- son of God, will encounter, including the social climate. The book of Isaiah tells us that the son of God will be rejected by His own people- the jews, while the Gentiles will believe in Him. Furthermore, there will be a forerunner- a voice in the wilderness that will prepare the way for Him, and later we come to see this when John the Baptist prepares the way for Jesus.

If you read the seven ramifications of the prophecy carefully, Mathew 27: 3-10, Jeremiah 32: 6-15, Psalms 41, and Zechariah 11: 11-13, this story about the Messiah becomes even more interesting. God says that a close friend will betray the Messiah for thirty pieces of silver that will be cast on the Temple’s floor and used to buy a potter’s field. In the book of Micah 5:2, the Lord eliminated all the world’s cities and selected Bethlehem will not over one thousand people to be the birthplace of the Messiah.

On top of that, through a series of prophecies, God defined the time sequence which would set His Son apart. According to Malachi 3:1 and other testament verses in Haggai 2:7-9, Zechariah 11:13, Daniel 9:26, and Psalms 118:26, “the Messiah will come while the temple of Jerusalem is still standing.” This message is of great importance since we know that the Temple was destroyed in A.D 70, and since then, it has not been rebuilt.

Now, with the accurate lineage, the time, the place, people’s reactions, manner of birth, betrayal, and the way of death, it is clear that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Son of God as well as the savior of the world. Jesus Christ transforms our lives, provides atonement for sin as well as reconciliation with God. The Messiah brings joy, peace, and purpose into our lives. There is no foundation for true direction and peace apart from faith in Him as the Psalmist tells us that ” Man is estranged from the womb.” The best part is that this estrangement is healed by reconciling the ministry of Christ, and He is the best experience for those who believe in Him. From the word of God, precisely the objective evidence of the New Testament and the Hebrew Bible, and the personal verification of our lives, there is more than enough evidence that Jesus Christ was who He claimed to be.

If you have never believed in Jesus Christ if you have never called his name, this is the right time to turn to the Lord and admit that you are a sinner. Jesus Christ or the Messiah is a friend of sinners, and He came to seek and save that which is lost. He is ready to receive you in His Kingdom. John 6: 37 says that whoever comes to Jesus Christ will never be cast out. He is a willing and loving savior who will bring us into His Kingdom and clothe us with His perfect righteousness and wash away all our sins. He has prepared a place in Heaven for us. I don’t think there is a greater offer that is being extended to us here than the free offer of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

THE SIGNS OF THE END OF THE AGE

Revelation 1;3- Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

There have been lots of rumors and conspiracy theories before all, pointing at the end of the world. However, in 2020 a peculiar year started with locust plagues in some parts of the world, asteroid threats, war declarations, religious killings, adverse climatic changes, and among other things. The whole world, apart from Greenland and Antarctica, is faced with a historical virus threat that could wipe out more than half of its population. So far, more than 2 million people have died, and the virus is yet to be contained.

Many believers have been preparing for the end of days from the very beginning through prayers and supplication. On the other hand, non-believers were for a while over themselves thinking of how to survive the asteroid threat they presumed would hit the earth on 29th April 2020. This is until NASA recently reassured them of the safety of earth. And now, despite the wake of a new life-threatening virus, they have gone back to their sinful ways.

2 Corinthians 4;4– In their case, the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Our God is merciful and takes no pleasure in the death of anyone (Ezekiel 18:32). Therefore, he promises us redemption if we repent our sins and turn to him. It is saddening that great leaders in the Bible could identify a time to have the nation repent and ask for God’s mercy, but, unfortunately, today’s leaders are hell-bent on suffering the defenseless and stealing from the people in substantial corruption schemes. Therefore, brethren, we beseech you to prepare your hearts and souls for the coming of the Lord.

I do not know, and neither do I believe that anyone knows when the Lord shall return. Mathew 24;36 – But concerning that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of the heavens, nor the Son, except the Father. However, the Bible advises us to be ready Revelation 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb, has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” (8) And to her, it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. (9) Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

Therefore, let us take hid to the following signs that have already passed and strongly suggest the end of the world.

    • Chaos, climatic changes, and Plagues; there has been lots of floods drowning wildlife, ecosystems suffering damages, divisions between communities, hail storms in different parts of the world, destructive forest fires, locust plagues in some parts of the world, and a deadly virus has befallen the world. Not to mention that survival currently depends on our love for each other.
    • Gospel restoration; many have turned worldly possessions and money into replacing God, relying heavily on science for survival. However, only God can save them in these dangerous times. The Isaiah and Ezekiel prophesy about the Mormon book being bought forth to the world has come to pass.
    • The gospel has reached the world; the Bible has been translated to almost all the world’s languages, and even those who do not believe have heard about Jesus Christ. Some believe and proclaim him in truth and spirit, while the devil sends others to mislead God’s people. For instance, the Bible says there shall be prophets who shall claim to be servants of the highest.
    • The president of the church, Joseph Smith, has witnessed the return of Elijah and was also handed the gospel of Christ Jesus. Both of these two occurrences are prophesied in the Bible.

    Conclusion
It is our sincere hope that you are preparing for the second coming of the Lord. It is enough that worldly possessions do not matter at this point in today’s world, but there is comfort in knowing that your faith in God is the only one that can save you!

The Reality of Matthew 24:7 – End-Time Events

    The reality of Matthew 24:7

Matthew 24 is one of the most significant chapters of the Bible for Christians on the end time’s prophecy. If you know nothing about the end time, this chapter is an excellent guide to the return of Jesus Christ to this earth.

There are many proofs that the end is near, ranging from great famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and wars occurring in diverse places of the earth. So let’ take a realistic look at these things briefly.

Signs of the end-time; Have they taken place?

The answer to the question above is YES.  According to Matthew 24, these things must happen before the coming of Christ. Let’s take a quick list of them:  False Christ’s, Wars, Famine, Earthquakes, persecution of believers, Great tribulation, false prophets, pestilence, A world without love, amongst others.

This great chapter of the Bible clarifies that all of these things must occur before the end of time. But, unfortunately, most of these events have occurred while others are still occurring.

According to several Christian writers and teachers on biblical prophecy, Jesus prophesied that there would be a visible increase in the intensity and frequency of earthquakes just before his return to earth. Many writers and teachers have proven that the 1990s saw a sharp increase in the frequency and intensity of earthquakes compared to the preceding decades of the 20th century. These writers and teachers see this coincidence of Jesus’ prophetic declaration and recent seismic events as a clear demonstration of the signs of his return.

Hal Lindsey, the most famous teacher of biblical prophecy in the world and author of 17 prophesy books, writes in one of her last books:

Earthquakes continue to increase in frequency and intensity, as the Bible predicts for the last days before the return of Christ. History shows that the number of deadly earthquakes remained relatively constant until the 1950s, with an average of two to four occurrences per decade. In the 1950s, there were nine. In the 1960s, there were 13. In the 1970s, there were 51. In the 1980s, there were 86. From 1990 to 1996, there were more than 150. 1

Many find it hard to believe that we live in the last days of the earth’s history. But, according to the Bible, 2 Pet 3: 3-4. “I bring to your reminder that in the end time, the scoffers will come and do everything they can to make a mistake and laugh at the truth. This will be their argument: ”So Jesus promised to return, did he? It will never come! Because, since the days of our ancestors, everything has remained exactly as it was since the first day of creation.”

Nations will rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. Wars and diverse conflicts are already occurring on the earth. This is in line with Mark 13: 7-8

Things That Christians Must Know About the End Times

Matthew 24: 9-14. It establishes a very succinct and critical section of verses that describes what will happen during the end times and that will affect, especially Christians. Let me declare them briefly: Vs. 9: There will be great tribulations, hatreds, and murders of Christians throughout the world. Vs. 10. There will be the fall of the false Christians. Vs. 11: false prophets will try to deceive people. Vs. 12: the world will become increasingly evil and without love. Vs. 13: Christians will last until the end of time and will be saved. Vs. 14. The gospel will be preached all over the world. These things must happen before the coming of Christ and the rapture of the church. Let’s have a leaf through them:

    1. Matthew 24: 9. There will be tribulation. The word “tribulation” comes from the Greek “thlipsis,” which means persecution. It is a word that was frequently used in the New Testament about the difficulties that Christians regularly encounter. 1 chor 7:28, 4:17, and john 16: 33 are a few scriptures that point that Christians must go through the tribulation.

    2. Matthew 24:10. This tells us about this great apostasy, which means that many people will be straying from the Christian faith because they are not faithful believers. This is usually seen in churches today. When this persecution begins, when the heat rises against the Christians, these so-called Christians will leave their church, turn away from the faith, turn against the real Christians.

    3. Matthew 24:11. False prophets will arise to deceive people from the one true God and the true faith. The devil will do everything possible to convince people to the desert and move away from Christ. There is a clear link between the false prophets of verse 11 and the apostasy of the so-called Christians in verse 10 because the false prophets will cause people to leave the true church, turn away from Christ, and become the antichrist.

    4. Matthew 24:12. Anarchy will increase. This world will become more and more sinful and wicked. This will be especially true after the rise of the Antichrist because this wicked, unjust, and perverse man will lead this world to sin like never before. In 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-4. The peace, courtesy, and kindness that we often see in the world right now, deeply rooted in our Judeo-Christian culture, will no longer be visible, except for Christians. But his light, our light, will shine in the dark. Matthew 5: 14-16, Romans 12: 9-21

    5. Matthew 24:13. This is an ecstatic verse. Jesus Christ speaks of Christians who live during the days of this great tribulation and must persevere until the end of time. Then they will be saved and raptured by Christ. Life will be tough for Christians in this time of great persecution, but many will persist and resist until the end, and suddenly they will be raptured from the earth to be with Christ.

Advice to Christians on Mathew 24

Dear Christian, do not ignore this chapter. Would you please not take it lightly? It is very significant to the Christian faith. We are talking about the most challenging days for Christians living on this earth. This information is of fundamental importance to you about Christ for the end times, as it will help you feel overwhelmed by what God wants you to be. I encourage you to read it, reread it and meditate on it continually. The study, reflect, and pray about it and be confident that it will happen. Jesus Christ does not lie. He tells you the truth. You must believe and hold fast to your faith.

As the time approaches, you can be part of the last generation of Christians on this earth, and you will see more of these prophesy fulfilled as Jesus said. One day, and it won’t be long, and Jesus Christ will return and take with love, power, speed, security, and glory all the believers on this earth to be with him forever and ever. “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20

    Our True Source of Hope

    Everything will be ok
Things are looking good for everything will be ok

We are living in times of much change and uncertainty. Even before the recent unprecedented virus threats, our world has been experiencing political unrest, changes in social culture, economic swings, and day-to-day changes that leave us in a state of never knowing what to expect next. Anxiety levels are increasing as hope is decreasing all around us.

What do we do, then, in this volatile world that we live in? Do we dig our heels in and plow through? Do we enter survival mode and try to get through it alive? Or do we bury our heads in the sand and try to ignore it all, living in ignorant bliss? Fortunately, the answer is – “none of the above.”

As believers, our hope is built on so much more than what we see around us. The world we live in is unstable, unsteady, often unforgiving, and unrelenting. Our God is none of those things. The word of God tells us that Christ was “foreordained before the foundation of the world” (1 Peter 1:18-20) and that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). The same Savior that walked this earth doing miracles and changing peoples’ lives is the same Savior that is within you today. This is where our hope lies.

Many people today are looking for something, anything, in which to place their hope. Be it money, a career, a relationship, a calling of some kind…something that will give them a reason to keep going, something to believe in during the hard times. These things are all fine in themselves, but they are not unshakeable like most things in this life. Money doesn’t last; relationships fail, careers end. What do you do when what you’ve placed all your hope in suddenly is gone?

This is why it is critical to “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth” (Colossians 3:2). When we look around, we see all the horrors of this world happening every day – disease, violence, abuse, war – and our hope takes a beating. But when we look up…when we fix our eyes on Him, the Author and Finisher of our faith and the true source of all our hope, we are strengthened in Him. We walk in His hope, not ours. His power, not ours.

Now, does this mean that we won’t have or shouldn’t have any problems or worries? Of course not. We are a part of this fallen world. Life happens to us, as believers, just like it does to everyone else. The difference is, we have an arsenal of weapons at our disposal to combat the fear, stress, and hopelessness so that it doesn’t get the best of us. All the promises of God belong to us, as His children, and He is more than enough to handle all of our circumstances.

However, the key to this hope lies in our willingness to believe it and employ our faith to receive it. We need to declare, as in 2 Timothy 1:12, that regularly “…I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He can keep what I have committed to Him until that day.” The God of the universe created you, knows you, and cares deeply for you. He is intimately connected to you and desires only the best for you. He will take care of you. He will. But we must believe this, or our disbelief can forfeit all that He wants to do in our lives.

See, you are not some random number in a giant database of human beings. You were created on purpose for a purpose. And the God that created you wants you to fulfill that purpose. But we must commit ourselves to Him. When problems come, as they do, pray. Don’t worry and fret until you become a stressed-out bundle of nerves. Ask Him for the help that He wants to give you. He told us to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

Jesus came so that we may have life and “have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). An abundant life is one of peace, joy, love, strength, and hope. All of this is found in Him. When life threatens to steal these from you, especially your hope, turn your eyes to the One with an endless supply, he’s there, waiting, and more than able to meet your need.

    WATCH: PREPARATION FOR HIS COMING

    Outlook
    Look out; Its happening

    Username of the writer: ArticleProf

Do you look forward to the second coming of Christ? Do you wake up with the hope that this may be the day I see my Savior face to face? I am not talking about engaging in debates regarding his second coming but really that eager expectation of His return?

The second coming of Jesus Christ is the anticipation of every true believer.  Just as the Bible says; “He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for Him” ~Hebrews 9:28

I have heard young people make statements like, “I hope Jesus doesn’t come back before I get married or before I buy my own house or before I accomplish my dream of being a billionaire.” Unfortunately, this shows that we are more eager for the riches of this world than we are for our Savior. It shows that our hearts’ desires are more for the world than they are for God.

As believers, we eagerly wait for His return because we are not of this world; the things of the world do not captivate our hearts. We desire to be with the lover of our soul, the one who quenches our hunger and thirst—the one we love with all our hearts, all our soul, and all our mind.

“For we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives and we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Savior” ~Philippians 3:20

Since we know He will indeed come again, the big question becomes, are we prepared for His coming? For how can we eagerly await His return when we are not prepared?

As Jesus was telling His disciples about the end times, He said to them, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming” ~Matthew 24:42

    PRAY

One of the crucial ways we stay prepared for the second coming of our Lord and Savior is by developing and nurturing our relationship with God in prayer. Prayer is simply communication with God and that helps us to stay connected to His Heart. Just as communication is the fuel to any relationship, so is prayer like the fuel that keeps our relationship with God going.

Jesus actually gives a parable of the ten virgins; five of them did not take any oil with them while the other five took oil in their vessels with their lamps (Matthew 25: 3-4). They were all waiting for the bridegroom, and when he delayed, they all slumbered and slept. Unfortunately, when the bridegroom finally came, only five were ready while the other five had no oil in their lamps.

This is what the Bible says, “And while they went to buy the oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward, the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you’ ~Matthew 25: 10-12

Many of us might wonder, how can Jesus claim not to know us when He is the one who created us and put us here on earth? The answer to that question is that the ‘know’ used in this scripture is the same ‘know’ used when the Bible tells us in Genesis 4:1 that Adam knew Eve and she conceived. It is a knowing of intimacy. Jesus will say to those whom He did not know intimately through communion in prayer, ‘I do not know you.’

Just as Apostle Peter wrote, “The end of all things is at hand. Therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers” ~1 Peter 4:7

My prayer is that we will all be found ready when our Bridegroom finally comes. May we will be found in a constant place of living in and enjoying the presence of God. May our hearts be found yearning and desiring more of God as we seek Him with everything we are. May our prayer lives be found flowing with oil.

    STUDY THE WORD

The Lord told Joshua, “Study this book of instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night, so you will be sure to do everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do” ~Joshua 1:8

To be ready for the coming of our Lord, we have to be students of the word of God. For how can we know God without studying His word? God knows us through our intimate fellowship with Him in prayer while we get to know Him by diligently reading and studying the scriptures.

John wrote and said, “In the beginning was the word and the word was God and the Word was with God.” He then continues to say that Jesus is the Word made flesh.

The word of God is pure, without any error, complete, sufficient, and true. Therefore, though the world will pass away, the word of God will by no means pass away.

I challenge you to be a student of the word of God, take time from your daily schedule to sit quietly, and read the Bible, and the Lord will show you wonderful things that will renew your mind and transform your life.

    OBEY

It is not enough to simply read the word and store that information as knowledge. We are called to obey the Word of God. James wrote and said, “Be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” ~James 1:22

When we only read, study, and hear the word of God but refuse to do what it says, we are walking in deception. “For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away and immediately forgets what kind of man he is” ~James 1:23-24

Jesus also spoke and said that if we love Him, we will obey his commandments. Jesus said that those who practice lawlessness would not enter the Kingdom of heaven.

As the day draws near, may we be found ready as true followers of Jesus Christ who obey the word of God and do what it says. May our lives bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit as Sons of God and Children of Light.

Whenever you find yourself walking in disobedience to the ways of God, be quick to ask God for His forgiveness and repent, turning away from that sin.

The Bible tells us that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and sometimes our sins defile the temple of the Holy Spirit. It may range from pornography addiction to poor eating habits. Jesus set us free from all things that may hold us from being who He died for us to be; Children of God. It is now for us to stay free. (See Galatians 5:1)

    LOVE FOR EACH OTHER

Jesus spoke to His disciples and said, “By this, all will know that you are my disciples if you have a love for one another” ~John 13:35

As disciples of Jesus Christ, the world will know that we are true followers of Christ by how we love each other. And to be ready for His coming, we must be living in peace, love, and unity with each other.

Let’s not be caught in dissensions with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Instead, let’s be quick to forgive. Peter asked the Lord how many times he should forgive his brother when he sins against him, and Jesus replied and said seventy times seven.

Jesus also taught us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. I believe that one of the ways we show love to those around us is by telling them about Jesus and what He did for them, sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We can also show Love by helping those in need. An interesting passage where Jesus explains this in great detail is Matthew 25:31-46, and I encourage you to study that portion of scripture.

Jesus also taught us to love our enemies and pray for them. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in Heaven” ~ Matthew 5:43-45

It seems that the life of a believer is walked out in Love everywhere and to everyone. So I hope that we will be found ready, loving on every human being, and in every way possible.

    CONCLUSION

Interestingly, preparing for the Lord’s coming is not as complex and complicated as many of us may think. Instead, it is simply living as children of God, cultivating a relationship with Him through prayer and studying the scriptures, obeying Him, walking in Love, spreading the good news. Following the example Jesus set for us.

The Holy Spirit is always there, willing to help us to stay alert and be always prepared for the coming of our Bridegroom. For no one knows the time nor the hour, it may be today or a few months from now or a few years from now. What we know is that it will be unexpected.

“Two men will be in the field: one will be taken, and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know the hour your Lord is coming” ~Matthew 24:40-42

Love Forgiveness – A True Story About A Man Who Was Fired.

    0
    I'm So Sorry

Today’s true story is about the world we live in and how we are all connected through the choices and behaviors that we all share. I want to share with you a little about my life and how I see things around me.

I don’t ever believe in judging others; you know we all make mistakes, and when do wrong things in our life, and when we make mistakes we can be forgiven through a repentance process, this is a real blessing, and if we genuinely repent, we will never do that wrong again, and the person that we harm, we should make it right.

There is a difference between making a mistake from doing your job and doing something that affects a person’s livelihood. If we steal, we should ask for forgiveness, return the item, and make a wrong right.

    A prophet of God shared what True repentance is;

“True repentance is not only sorrow for sins and humble penitence and contrition before God, but it involves the necessity of turning away from them, a discontinuance of all evil practices and deeds, a thorough reformation of life, a vital change from evil to good, from vice to virtue, from darkness to light. Not only so, but to make restitution so far as possible for all the wrongs that we have done, to pay our debts and restore to God and man their rights, which is due them from us for this is true repentance.

I love God with all my heart, and I truly desire that the people of this world would understand that we are living in the last few years (decades) leading up to Christ 2nd coming and there will be many things that will take place before that time arrives.

When you often share the truth as written in the bible, people will shrug it off as it is just your opinion. They don’t care! The only way we can understand the real truth is through prayer and studying the scriptures.

    Hosea Chapter 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

As I believe we need to pray in all that we do, for if we don’t pray, how can we have a relationship with God.

I understand that none of us are perfect, but as children of God, we should hold ourselves to a much higher standard.

    Matthew 5:44

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:44

    In Matthew chapter 7:1-2

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what Judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

I work for a manufacturing company in Ashland, Virginia, and recently there was an employee named Alvin that was fired.

When Alvin starts his day, he attacks the day; it’s like he is on a mission and goes after it. He is very responsive, and when he has a lot of work to do, he is focused on his job. He was an excellent employee; he had a silliness nature about him, told jokes, was often being silly, or just being friendly, funny, and an unusual trait to have when we live in an evil world.

Alvin, well, his job was a bit different than the rest of us. He would work across the street, sorting out parts and materials that would be shipped by freight, and it did not matter if it was 10 degrees outside or 100 degrees; they had him outside working in all kinds of conditions. But it was Alvin’s job, and he did it well.

It seems like it was about ten years ago, Alvin set up the cardboard with the words Bikini Contest, I don’t remember the exact words, of course, this was Alvin being silly and just doing what he could to make others smile.

From what I understand, two employees decided to complain about something that Alvin had done, and the results were he was fired.

Alvin was different and would often be silly and would do anything to make one laugh, for he did that well.

Many of us at work don’t understand how and why a guy who doesn’t have a mean bone in his body can be fired and harshly treated. Unless there was an evil agenda behind it?

Alvin had in his area a sign that had KKK written down. It doesn’t fit his personality at all. I have no reason to Judge him, and due to the sensitive nature of the world that we live in, one of the owners even mentioned it, Alvin is a victim of the times we live in, so they fired him.

Did Alvin get fired for being silly or making a wrong decision? Was it so bad that Alvin would lose his job over it?

As a true Christian, I would take a moment and talk with Alvin to see if he was just being silly and find out why he wrote those words down. Or was it an evil plot against him merely because of Jay’s attitude. One can see here there was a lack of communication, and surely this could have been taken care of by following the commandments of God. We should love one another.

From what I understand, the words KKK was in his area for a very long time, and something happened that Jay decided to make a big deal out of it and show it to David.

I would have asked him to take it down, and due to the sensitive nature, I would ask him to let the others know that he just made an unfortunate error in judgment and that he was sorry. I have no idea why he wrote those words down, for I wish I could talk with him and get the real truth.

    I am sorry
    I’m Sorry

I can’t help it, but what if I were to post a large poster of Jesus Christ would I be told to take it down, and if I so, would I be fired if I said no.

I realize there is a difference. Just because others do bad things doesn’t mean we should judge someone else, we need to pray for them, for Alvin.

The nature of Man; many put others down to build themselves up. It doesn’t make it right, but it happens all the time. We as Christians must do better, for we are indeed the children of God.

In this case, there is a lot of Judgment and pointing fingers, one saying he felt threatened; Alvin is not that type of person.

Now, if he refused to take it down, then that is a different story. Most things can be solved with kindness and love, which often is lacking in the world that we live in. We are children of the light and should do all we can to show it, to make a difference in a world that needs us.

This story gets a bit deeper. There are two others involved: African American, we will call him David for this story, and the other works in the shipping department, I’ll call him Jay for this story.

The guy working for the shipping department would often lose his temper and slam and throw things as he got angry.

David comes to work late all the time, most likely more than 100 times a year. David can do no wrong, and they would never fire him. The truth is I don’t want to see anyone get fired, but I believe we all have a responsibility to do our job the best of our ability.

For the sake of this story, I have no idea why Jay decided to go after Alvin.

Was Alvin joking or what? These are questions I can not answer.

I do know that the scripture in the book of Timothy explains the exact times that we live.

    2 Timothy 3: 1-4

1 This also know that in the last days, perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

    4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

When things like this happen, it truly makes me sad, for Alvin was a friend, a co-worker.

With the knowledge of the storm, we are about to face regarding prophecies’ fulfillment. I wish with all my heart that people could be more loving and thoughtful.

What happens when you Judge someone due to the circumstances of others or due to pressure from others who have an agenda.

So this article covers a lot, and it all boils down to staying in tune with the Lord Jesus Christ. Stay strong, pray often, and do something to become the light in a dark world.

    Proverbs 31:9
Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Yes, there is such a thing as judging righteously. We can do that if we do that out of love and with compassion. surprise

Matthew 7:12 – Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

I want the best for all people, we all make our own choices. Please remember we all get one chance at this that will affect us for all time and eternity. Let us love all people and pray for the world we live in.

Let us always pray in all that we do.

    God Bless You! smileyheart

    The Miracle Deception

God loves humanity with an everlasting and unending Love. While sin had separated us from experiencing a relationship with God as He intended from the very beginning, He gave His precious Son Jesus Christ the ultimate sacrifice that we may be reconciled back to Him. And as if that was not enough, He made it possible for us to experience His presence in our lives every day by giving us His Holy Spirit. God has given so much of Himself to show us that His Love for us is so pure and so unconditional that it knows no end. His Love is revealed in His pursues of our hearts; it is also seen in His solemn warnings. He loves us so much that He doesn’t want us to be deceived and lose out dwelling with Him for all eternity.

One of the solemn warnings God gives to us is found in Revelation 13, where John sees the two beasts. This will be a very crucial test in the time of tribulation that will reveal whom our true worship belongs to as humanity. It will also provide yet another opportunity to either choose to obey God or obey the devil.

Everyone has a choice; that’s one of the ways God shows us He loves us because true Love provides free will and never forces itself on another.

As we get into Revelations 13, I just want to remind you that the Bible has stood the test of time, and it remains relevant in today’s complex world.

The book of Revelation seeks to reveal the plans of God and the works of the devil to try and thwart God’s plans but ultimately failing terribly.

However, the devil manages to deceive a lot of people who will, unfortunately, end up perishing with him. That’s why these warnings were written so that God can speak to your heart and my heart to remain faithful to Him to the very end. This is all because He loves us so much and desires no one to perish with the devil.

He desires that all men will be saved and come to the knowledge of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:4)

    THE FIRST BEAST

This is what John saw, “Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.” ~Revelation 13:1-2

It’s important to start by noting that God shows John a beast, revealing it for what it really is. But to the people of the earth, it may not necessarily be an actual beast. A beast speaks of something tremendously evil, and in God’s clear view and vision, it is a beast. John describes it as having seven heads and ten horns and on his horns ten crowns. Throughout scripture, a horn always represents strength or power.

Take Note: In the book of Daniel, a horn is a leader, president, or King, someone in charge of a territory.

We can, therefore, see that this beast has ten powers that are royal in nature because of the crowns we see on the ten horns. This also talks of leadership. On the seven heads, John sees a blasphemous name, which shows us that this beast is contrary to the things of God.

Take Note: There will be 10 Kings in charge of ten tracks of land, and one of the Ten Kings will be the 7th King that replaces the 6th King. It is the 6th King in the North Kingdom that starts the Mark of the Beast system, and it is the 7th king who is the raiser of taxes. The good news is The Mark of the beast system comes to an end. Then we have the 7th king and, by the way, only will live for a few days.

Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger nor in battle. Dan 11:20

Take Note: The 7th King is the King that is killed and comes back to Life after its deadly wound. He becomes the 8th king after he is killed, which is the King that does battle against Jesus Christ when he returns as King of Kings at the end of Armageddon.

To blaspheme means to speak untrue and vicious lies about God, His Kingdom, and His people. In verse 6, we see that this beast opens his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name and those who dwell in heaven. We can all make the observation that this beast is evil, represents ten powers, and it’s entirely contrary to the word of God. Some see this beast, not as a person but a kingdom, as a federation of ten Nations that will rise to power during the tribulation period. However, other people see this beast as a symbol of a man and, more specifically, the antichrist. The difference in interpretations comes from the fact that some of the things that are said of the beast refer to a kingdom while some things refer to a man. I tend to believe that both are right.

Daniel also writes of this particular beast in chapter 7:23-24, “The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth which shall be different from other kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth, tremble it and break it in pieces. The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; he shall be different from the first ones.” Isn’t it amazing that some things that John saw had already been shown and explained to Daniel? God really wants us to understand these warnings so that we will always stay prepared. I believe that the kingdom references are the fact that during the tribulation, the antichrist will control this federation of nations. What John sees here is the antichrist and his power and his tools to accomplish his mission. We read that this beast rises up from the sea. The sea is a reference symbolically in scripture for the nations of the world. Sometimes, the Old Testament refers to the nations of the world as islands. So we see that this beast will rise from the nations.

And John saw that the beast was given power and great authority by the dragon that we see in Chapter 12, who is the devil.

    THE HEALING MIRACLE

Something rather interesting happens to this first beast in Revelation 13, and this is what John saw. “And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast, and they worshipped the beast saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” ~Revelation 13:3-4

John sees a fatal wound on this beast that is healed, and the world marveled and followed the beast. Dear brethren, do not be deceived by counterfeit healing miracles. Many will be deceived to worship the devil himself simply because of a miracle. Our relationship with God is what matters, our relationship with God takes first place, and we don’t love and follow Him just because of His Marvelous mighty works but because of who He is and because He first loved us. So don’t be disillusioned by hunger to see miracles that you abandon your hunger for God.

This has also been linked to Revelation 17:7-8, where the angel said to John, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has seven heads and ten horns. The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition.

And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the book of Life from the foundations of the world. When they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is”

It is believed that this beast (This is the 7th King in the northern kingdom) had been killed and has been raised back to Life hence why the angel said the beast that was and is not, and yet is.

As Daniel interprets king Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, he talked of the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, which showed that the final kingdom would be divided, then the end will come where God will establish His Kingdom which shall never be destroyed. (See Daniel 2:41-45)

Therefore, it is believed that this divided kingdom could mean that there were nations that came against this beast and killed him, but now he had risen again, and his deadly wound healed. Many lost souls will marvel and follow him, worshipping both the beast and the dragon.

    WAR AGAINST THE SAINTS

It was granted to him to make war against the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every tribe, tongue and nation.

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose name have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundations of the earth” ~Revelation 13:7-8

Take Note: This is believed to be a time after the church will have already been raptured.

The saints mentioned here are those who will have believed in Jesus Christ as Lord, repented of their sins, and devoted their lives to following God after the rapture.

However, it will be a challenging time to be saved, and those saints will face many tribulations. We see that this beast will come against the saints and overcome them. Many will be slaughtered because of their faith in Jesus Christ. There is, therefore, no better time to be born again and living in the ways of God than now. John also sees that those whose names are not written in the Book of Life will worship this beast.

And my simple question to you is, do you have the confidence that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Have you repented of your sins and received the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ? And are you living in His righteous ways and walking in holiness with the Holy Spirit’s help? If not, I am here to encourage you that you can make that decision now. You can ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and write your name in His Book of Life. You can believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that He died for you, and on the third day, He resurrected and now lives forevermore. You can ask Him to make a home in your heart and help you to turn away from your old ways completely, and He will answer you. If you do that, get to know Him by reading the Bible and talking to Him every day through prayer. He is always ready to reveal Himself to us and to lead us in His will.

    THE SECOND BEAST

John sees yet another beast, “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound has been healed. ~Revelation 13:11-12

This beast has the appearance of a lamb, but something gives him away; he speaks like a dragon, like the devil. We know from the Bible that the devil is the father of all lies, and this beast speaks deception, just like the dragon even though his appearance is that of a lamb. He appears harmless and maybe the beast’s image, but he speaks the words of the devil. Jesus actually warned us of this when he said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” ~Matthew 7:15

This beast is later referred to as the false prophet whose main goal is to point people to the antichrist. His primary function is to demand that the people of the earth worship the antichrist or the beast that was healed.

    THE MIRACLE DECEPTION

Beware of this second beast because he will come with great signs and wonders. John saw that “He performs great signs so that he even makes fire to come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.

He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would worship the image of the beast Satan killed.” ~Revelation 13:13-15

This beast will be given power from the devil to exercise authority and supernatural power. You may wonder, where does the devil get that kind of power? Well, the devil has that kind of power, but it is counterfeit; it’s not the real deal. In Exodus, when Moses went to Egypt, we read that the magicians were able to counterfeit what Moses was doing. But ultimately, God’s power was proven to be more powerful than that of the devil. It’s important to know that supernatural power is not always from God. Signs and wonders are not always from God. And that’s why it is so important that we focus on developing and nurturing a relationship with God instead of only seeking His miraculous signs; otherwise, we may easily be deceived through counterfeit miracles if that were possible. Paul also writes to the church of Thessalonians to warn them, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved” ~Thessalonians 2:9-10

The question I want to pose to you is, do you actually love the Truth? The Word of God says that a time that will come and is now here with us when people will not put up with sound doctrine but instead to suit their own desires, they will gather around themselves a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3)

My prayer is that we will be lovers of Truth both in words and in deeds. That we will obey His commandments for that is one of the ways we express our Love and Honor for Him. May we all receive Love for Truth. Let us not be deceived by the lies of the enemy, and we can do this by putting on the full armor of God which is well elaborated in Ephesians 6:10-18:

    The Belt of Truth

    The Breastplate of Righteousness

    Sharing the Gospel of peace

    The Shield of Faith

    The Helmet of Salvation

    The Word of God

    Prayer and Intercession

    THE MARK OF THE BEAST

John continues to see that, “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their foreheads and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

~Revelation 13:16-17 The second beast uses the pressure of the economy to get people to worship the beast that was healed or the antichrist. People will not be able to buy food or services or anything without the Mark of the beast. There are rumors that have been spreading that maybe the vaccine for the Covid19 virus may be the Mark of the beast and that people will receive the Mark without knowing it in the form of a vaccine. However, that cannot be true because everyone receiving the Mark of the beast will know exactly what it is and will choose to either accept it or reject it and be killed. We don’t have to wait until a time when having a relationship with God will be punished by death. We can start now. We can devote ourselves to studying the word of God and staying connected to Him through daily communication with Him, through obeying His commands and telling others of the hope we have found in Jesus. I also know that the fantastic thing with the internet is that it will be here for a long time and maybe you’re reading this, and you are living in those times, I encourage you to endure to the end, to choose Jesus no matter what the cost because on the other side you will enjoy eternal life where there is no more pain or sorrow or sadness. God loves you, and that is why He has given you another chance. He is with you even now, trust Him and don’t give up.

    God Bless You smiley
